Sepsis 2012

Sepsis 2012: New Successes, New Challenges

Sepsis is a constantly changing threat.  Our efforts to limit its toll by targeting its basic biologic processes continue to disappoint; but prognosis has never been better.  In the wake of the failures of novel therapeutics and the successes of quality improvement campaigns, Sepsis 2012 will address the changing challenges facing sepsis researchers and clinicians who treat this complex illness.

Sepsis 2012 is the ISF’s 5th annual Symposium.  Sepsis 2012 will be held at the Institut Pasteur, in Paris, France.  We are expecting an audience of 400 delegates from around the world.  Past Symposia have attracted delegates from more than 40 countries.  The official language will be English

The Sepsis Annual Symposia

The Sepsis Annual Symposium is a unique meeting at which world experts address the diagnosis, epidemiology, science and clinical treatment of sepsis.  The faculty features international thought leaders from the fields of critical care, infectious diseases, internal medicine and surgery, who collectively have extensive expertise in the clinical care of patients with sepsis, the science and laboratory investigation of sepsis and the host response to sepsis, and in the design, conduct and interpretation of clinical trials conducted to investigate the treatment of sepsis.

The Sepsis 2011 Symposium focused on the clinical aspects of sepsis as well as understanding and management of sepsis and a comprehensive update on ongoing clinical trials plus presentation and a review of recent trials results.
